"Although there remains active discussion among scientists on many details about the pace and effects of climate change, no leading science organization disagrees that human activities are now changing the Earth's climate," said study researcher Lawrence Hamilton, professor of sociology and senior fellow with the Carsey Institute. Its not difficult to see why. Republicans traditionally being for business, want less regulation on the way corporations conduct that business. So it is in their best interests to use their Fox News mouth piece to discredit global warming/earth science with the scientists they scrapped from the bottom of the barrel.
